A warm highland welcome awaits you at Rowanbrae's two modern self catering studios (Heaven Lea and Robins Nest) each designed to comfortably accommodate two people. They nestle in a hillside that commands spectacular views over Glencoe.

Located in a village setting in Old Town, North Ballachulish, in the west highlands of Scotland, the studios enjoy an elevated position accessed by a flight of steps. They look to the west over Loch Leven and Loch Linnhe towards the unspoilt Ardnamurchin Peninsula,  and to the east, the magnificent mountains of Glencoe. Glencoe village is just 2 miles away.

The area is famous for its stunning scenery with a selection of local seafood restaurants, and the local pub is a lovely 15 minute walk. The self catering studios are a perfect base to tour the West Highlands of Scotland or take advantage of the magical attractions that Glencoe offers. The new Glencoe Mountain Resort at the south end of Glencoe is 15 minutes by car and offers modern activities throughout the year.

The popular town of Fortwilliam, known as the "outdoor capital of the UK" is just 9 miles away. You can also take a trip further afield to Oban, Inverness, or Mallaig, or visit the splendours of the magical Isle of Skye or the many other west Scotland islands. Of the 284 Munroes in Scotland 35 are within a half hour drive from the studios.
